Mackenzie Corn

I have been a DAP this year on the Marketing Team for WinShape Camps! On the team, I work closely with our events coordinator to plan excellent events, such as Spring Road Crew, Peach Powl, marketing events, and more. We work closely with multiple partners, such as Rise Up, church hosts, and different CFA operators, to make these events happen.

I also help work on our camp social media, blog, websites, and the carpool conversations podcast!

As part of this role, I will be serving as a camp director for a second summer! Truly, a role that has changed my life and helped me grow as a leader who wants to be more like Jesus every day! Throughout the year, I have been poured into and equipped to lead people well and partner alongside our wonderful hosts to put on an excellent day camp experience.

• Contributed to weekly team meetings, brainstorming sessions and staff appraisals.
• Created engaging content for Pinterest, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Contributed to team success by completing jobs quickly and accurately.
• Learned all required tasks quickly to maximize performance.
• Developed strong customer service and product knowledge skills to enhance individual and team performance.

• This was a seasonal position on a team called WinShape Road Crew. I got to lead a team of people in the fall and in the spring. We traveled to states all across the country as a part of the WinShape Recruiting and Marketing team.
• Received extensive training from the Chick-Fil-A headquarters in Atlanta on how to recruit and market camp for staff and families.
• I was responsible for logistically planning our travels. Through booking hotels, route planning our drives, budgeting meals, gas, lodging and work supplies.
• I had to make all purchases and code all company expenses.
• I helped develop a team that was mission focused, had constant open communication and kept one another accountable by staying in Gods Word in order to accomplish what God called us each to do in the Fall and Spring semester.
• We constantly spoke to college students at over 60 colleges campus on why getting involved in camp ministry is important.
• We went to over 100 Chick-Fil-A's and held pop up events to help families ee what their kid could experience if they signed up for camp!
• I pre-planned all events through communicating with Chick-Fil-A Operators, School administrations and my Supervisors Daily.
• Coached team members in techniques necessary to complete job tasks.

• I retain responsibility for the environment, operation, and overall quality of every element that takes place in the auditorium.
• Monitor all auditorium activities to enforce production standards and maintain knowledge of events affecting established schedules.
• Received thorough training in LED, Lighting, Set design and, Audio technology through ELITE Multimedia.
• I get to lead and direct multiple members of a team such as the worship leader, stage hosts, media specialist, and camp speaker.
• Planned and implemented production schedules and develop project budget.
• Monitored team budgets to keep projects on task and avoid waste. While constantly thinking of creative ways to improve visual appeal towards a specific theme.
• Travel, tear down and set up tech equipment weekly.
• Trained staff in operation and upkeep of equipment.
• Delivered direct feedback to senior management regarding project visibility and status.
• I am responsible for running three auditorium sessions a day , everyday for nine weeks. Traveling to different churches across the country to put on excellent day camp experiences to impact campers and families with the message of Jesus Christ.
