As a Fishing Mate on a party boat, I assist passengers by providing a safe, enjoyable, and successful fishing experience. Responsibilities include setting up fishing gear, docking, helping customers with baiting, handling and cleaning fish, and cleaning the boat. A strong work ethic, customer service skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts in tough conditions are essential.

I worked as a counselor at a camp in the Gulf, as well as a regular camp counselor, and ensured campers' physical safety in and around the water.
