Macy Furr

My name is Macy and I am almost 20 years old. Ever since I was young I’ve always loved art. It brings me peace using that outlet and allows me to connect with my emotions or calm them. I find myself being creative at times with using materials around me almost like crafting, while also enjoying the basic mediums like drawing and painting. I’m currently enrolled at Northern Virginia Community College and am studying art. I have tons of years of experience in the customer service industry and I would love to broaden my horizons and tap into something I really enjoy. While there are mostly adults who come into restaurants, i’ve definitely had to navigate the children aspect of a big family at a restaurant and what their needs are. I do enjoy passing by tables and seeing what they’ve created on their kids coloring menu with their crayons! When working as park attendant at a family water park you absolutely gain experience in dealing with kids. I really hope I get the chance to teach or just hang and create art with younger people!
