Tasked with responding to a variety of different calls at various priority levels involving the care and transport of animals in need. Examples include but are not limited to; calls for injured or ill animals, assisting law enforcement on scenes where an animal is present, and working with other animal welfare organizations to transport animals to correct jurisdictions. These responsibilities are completed while utilizing radio communication with both dispatch and other units, as well as an online call database. Responsible for triaging both the importance of calls and the locations in a large jurisdiction. Tasks are done while demonstrating safe and respectful handling of both domestic animals and wildlife, effectively communicating with members of the public while on calls, and working professionally with a variety of other agencies including law enforcement and other animal welfare organizations. Job duties are performed while safely operating large work trucks, and utilizing a variety of equipment and tools needed to ensure safety for both the employee and the animal. All calls are completed with accurate and thorough documentation and record keeping.

Assisting RVTs with induction and intubation of surgical patients. Performing surgical preparation including shaving and sterilizing the surgical field.

Responsible for monitoring patient vitals post-operatively and ensuring uneventful recovery process. Providing care to hospitalized patients by administering medications through various routes, starting IV fluids, assisting with IVC placement. Assisting with diagnostics such as obtaining radiographs, blood and urine samples, blood glucose samples. Interpreting results for basic blood and urine tests. Providing basic wellness treatments such as vaccines, de-worming, and microchips for publicly owned animals through SDHS vaccine clinic.

Tasked with assisting DVM during examinations, surgical preparation, obtaining blood and urine samples, and positioning patients during radiographs. Responsible for gathering medical history, conveying prescription and surgical discharge instructions, as well as administering injections, fluids and vaccinations. Additional duties include managing accounts receivable, reporting controlled drug prescriptions through CURES, as well as supervising and training receptionists.

Tasked with documenting patient charts, submitting insurance claims, maintaining office organization, and reporting end of day financial inventory. Additional duties include triaging incoming calls based on patient urgency, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and managing patient records, all while utilizing AVImark software.

Generating sales, serving product, and operating a POS system with speed and accuracy, all while working in a fast paced environment. Utilizing skills in customer service, teamwork, and multi-tasking. Additional duties include stocking, cleaning, packaging leftover product, and gathering donations for local organizations

Conducting face to face interviews with defendants, updating case files, and writing supervision reports to be used by the judge in determining defendant’s release or detention. Subsequently responsible for calling defendants and reminding them of their upcoming court dates to ensure attendance and minimize loss of court resources. Additional duties include witnessing blood alcohol and urinalysis tests, and using court databases to acquire relevant information.

Trained in 2015 as store operator to manage incoming and outgoing calls including directing caller to proper extension. Position required extreme efficiency, as well as the ability to remain calm and organized in high stress situations. Additional duties including cleaning, re-stocking and ordering clothing, along with organizing.
