My whole life I have volunteered for different organizations such as 4H, FFA, or even family/community events. I have always been very involved whether I am working community dinners or serving at dinners that my family has.
All 4 years of high school I worked very hard to achieve above a 4.0 GPA. I was enrolled in multiple AP and honors classes.
I played volleyball for three years in highschool and I also played on the Chowchilla Gold Volleyball Club team for two years. As a sophomore I was the team's setter and helped lead our team to winning the section championship.
I have been in the Chowchilla 4H club for a total of 10 years. I showed dairy cattle and pigs for 9 years. My sophomore year of high school I served as our clubs secretary where I assisted in managing and leading meetings.
I helped with a variety of farm labor on our families dairy and almond orchards where I would water and pull stakes.
As an ASB president I led my class to constructing and winning our sophomore class homecoming float. I was also in charge of planning the homecoming dance. I encouraged students in my class to get more involved.
I was asked by my volleyball coach to help her with leading a volleyball camp for K-8th students. I provided instruction and fostered confidence among the campers.
I helped host fundraisers to benefit our FFA chapter and assisted in preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes during discussions. I also participated in the Best Informed Greenhand competition.
