Honors Pre-Human Resource Management student with a minor in General Business at Western Michigan University's Haworth College of Business. I prioritize my education and am extremely passionate about my career goals.
Since completing my People Services internship with the HR team at Plymouth Place Senior Living, I have gained knowledge, appreciation and real-world exposure into the field of human resources.
My top strengths include harmony, consistency, empathy, discipline and responsibility.
- Educate, encourage, and foster a culture in the chapter where members embrace the Ritual and tradition of the sorority in their daily lives. The Ritual is the source of our values, ideals and principles upon where we lead our lives and within the sorority.
- Ensure that the sorority's history and values are upheld in events and on a consistent basis
- Analyze and audit all active and terminated employee documentation, such as Form I-9
- Supported the Human Resources department of a senior living community in Brookfield, IL, with filing, archiving, and improved organization of employee information
- Complete tracer forms for newly hired employees to ensure all information has been provided
- Create and upload meeting minutes for weekly chapter meetings
- Input chapter attendance records into My Chapter Room platform
- Promoted to Lead Server after three months
- Serve in numerous settings, including the Independent and Assisted Living dining rooms, the Bistro café, catering, carry-out, room service, and the Dining Services call center
- Supervise server staff and oversee dining room
- Escort residents into dining room and assist them as needed
- Operate POS machine to charge meal orders to resident billing system
