There was an increase of four percent of the students Making Learning Gains in Reading and an increase of fourteen percent of the Lowest 25% Making Learning Gains in Reading. In the area of Adequate Yearly Progress, Reading Proficiency was met this year. Dr. Edward L. Whigham Elementary has maintained a grade of 'B' for the past four years, an increase from a grade of 'C' in 2006-2007.
