I have knowledgeable experience within the health care setting and am eager to obtain a position as a newly graduated nurse.
Assisted nurses with patient care on a cardiac and neurology unit, which included taking vitals every four hours, obtaining blood glucose checks, changing incontinent patients, assisting patients with ambulation, encouraging activities of daily living, and monitoring patients for changes in status.
Recieved the "Bee Award" at Indiana Regional Medical Center for care for patients. I was nominated by an incredible nurse, Chelsea Relich. The nomination story reads as followed; "Madison goes above and beyond for her patients. She is patient, kind, and compassionate. She takes the time to talk and listen to her patients. She is quick to offer help not only with her patients, but staff too. I have heard other staff members compliment her on how quick she was to notice a patient's oxygen dropping and they said she was really great. She took time to brush a patient's hair, which the patient was really thankful! She 100% makes sure her patients are well taken care of, clean, and safe. I definitely thinks she deserves a BEE Award. During a conversation, it did not take long to see that she loves her job and cares so much for her patients. She is currently in nursing school and I know she will be a wonderful nurse." The BEE Award stands for "be excellent every day" and it recognized to honor extraordinary partners in patient care.
