Dean's List - I received two merits for making Dean’s list (one for each semester of freshman year),
Letters - I received a letter in track, volleyball, swim and dive, lacrosse, and 4 additional letters for academic achievement (one for each year I attended high school).
My job was to direct and oversee set up for Delta Gamma charity. Overall me and my team oversaw the planning process and contributed to brainstorming themes and ideas.
Voted into the position of captain by my high school volleyball team and coaches. This job included communicating practice times, meeting places, buses and other formalities from the coach to the players, organizing captains practices, setting up and attending fundraising events, mediating conflicts between players (and coaches), keeping morale up within the team.
This club was centered around creating videos and other potential media for the school. The school did not need very much though, so we had a lot of other projects we would do. One of my favorite projects that I worked on was a video we made taking student testimonials to send to legislators about why funding lunch money for underprivileged students was detrimental to the health of a student body (in hopes they would pass legislation to help the cause).
I attended meetings once a week where we discuss philosophy and/or current political issues.
