Worked under a primary investigator recruiting patients in order to help further advance the lung cancer screening process. Spoke with doctors and patients about their treatment plan and analyzed if they would be able to participate in research. If they qualified, I communicated openly and explained the study along with any risks that were involved, as well as addressed concerns they expressed. I performed venipunctures on the patients that consented. Used excel, word and adobe formats daily. Ran and organized study participants and kept detailed records of confidential medical information.
