- Helped lead a team of 12 students from across the world to create a mock swimwear brand that emphasized collaboration and diverse views.
- Our team developed a Marketing, Sustainability, Manufacturing, Advertising, and Ambassador Plan for our swimwear company.
- Our team presented our overall company plan to NSLC staff to conclude the program; our team won best Marketing Plan.
- Designed outfits with assigned themes in short amounts of time, then presented our designs by walking the runway.
- My leadership training during this program included learning about resilience, communication, empathy, and better understanding our own, unique leadership styles.
- During the program, I met Eugenia Kim, the world famous hat designer. I toured her studio in New York City, and discussed with her the the world of hat making and upcoming fashion lines.
- I met with the President and sales Director of Aeffe, which is one of the world's biggest fashion conglomerate. I saw upcoming fashion lines for 2023 and 2024, and we discussed careers in fashion industry.
