While volunteering at Kent animal shelter I learned skills such as

• Animal care/handling

• Attention to detail

• Communication

• Patience

Some of the duties I had while working at the animal shelter included; Walking dogs, helping assist workers that were grooming dogs, Fed the cats.

Even though I currently live in Florida while I was living in New york I did babysit family friends and family on and off throughout the years.

Things we did include;

• Played games, worked on puzzles, and read books to young children.
• Communicated positively with children and guardians.
• Organized and cleaned home after activities by picking up toys and straightening up play room.
• Prepared healthy, age-appropriate snacks and meals.

I look after my sister's dog for her while she is up in New york for school.

Such tasks include;

• Prepared food and water following instructions from pet owners.
• Gave animals proper attention to promote secure environment in owner's absence.
• Cleaned out and scooped litter trays and food and water bowls to provide clean environment for pets.
• Exercised animals regularly with walks and rigorous play activities.

Here are some things to know about me. I'm currently living in Port St. lucie, Florida after living in Manorville, New york majority of my life. I've been told that I am a great listener with a creative mindset and a compassionate heart. I'm skilled at working independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility. Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations. Worked well in a team setting, providing support and guidance. Worked effectively in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
