- In the five years I've served on the Council, I have held various appointed positions including: Treasurer of the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council (2020-present), Region 5 Representative (2019-2021), At-Large Representative (2021-present), Homelessness Liaison (2019-2021, 2024-present), Co-Chair of the SLNC Budget & Finance Committee (2020-present), Co-Chair of the Ad-Hoc Committee on Housing & Homelessness (2021-present), Co-Chair of the Re-imagining Public Safety Committee (2023-present), Member of the Executive Committee (2020-present), Member of the Urban Design & Preservation Committee (2021), Founder and Co-Chair of the LGBTQIA+ Advocates Committee (2019-2020), Member of the Advocates for People Experiencing Homelessness Committee (2019-2021)
- Co-founded the LGBTQ+ Alliance of Neighborhood Councils in 2020 -the first city-backed initiative for the LGBTQ+ community in Los Angeles. Our greatest accomplishment was successfully lobbying the City to require DEI training for all LA City employees and elected Neighborhood Councilmembers, while actively participating in the development of the DEI training.
- Created and managed the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council annual budget for FY 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024. With my leadership as Treasurer, the SLNC has been able to give 40% of our annual budget directly back to the community through Neighborhood Purpose Grants and Community Improvement Projects.

- Ran for U.S. Congress in CA-30 (formerly CA-28 before congressional redistricting) in 2020, 2022, and 2024.
- Advanced to the General Election in 2022, becoming the first out, trans non-binary person to advance to a General Election for a seat in U.S. Congress, ultimately coming in 2nd place out of nine candidates.
- Fundraised over $100,000 in entirely grassroots funding from donors in all 50 states plus Washington, D.C.
