Operate firefighting equipment, such as hoses, light equipment (chainsaws, generators, circular saw etc.) and extinguishers, to control and extinguish fires. Conduct inspections, educate the public on fire safety, and implement measures to prevent fires. Ensure that firefighting equipment and gear are in proper working order through regular checks and maintenance. Preformed groundskeeping on all 7 stations, including lawn mowing, hedge trimming, minor building repairs and painting. Participate in ongoing training and drills to stay current with firefighting techniques and safety procedures. Document and report details of emergency incidents, including actions taken and outcomes. Provide emergency medical care, including assessing patients, performing CPR, administering medications, and using medical equipment. Safely transport patients to medical facilities while providing necessary medical care during transit.
