Cal Poly Humboldt student looking to gain work experience. Proficient in Spanish, artistic abilities, outdoor experience and is majoring in marine biology. Considered to be hardworking, reliable, and a fast learner.

• Supported a large potion of the funding for this year by selling paintings
• Attended high school abroad for a year in Ecuador
• Drastically improved Spanish comprehension and speaking level
• Interpreted between parents and English speaking doctors in a children's hospital (Rotary event)
• Visited an elementary school with Rotary to provide children with glasses, food, etc.
• Received private Spanish classes 4 times/week
• Was a part of multiple families in a cultural setting different from my own
• Teacher's aid to 3 elementary classes

• Food serving and clean up for 4 annual Rotary dinners
• Making care boxes for elderly people and soldiers
• Stocking stuffers for Toys for Tots
• Several trail building days on behalf of the Humboldt County Composite Mountain Bike Club
• Volunteer work at High Heels for Healing( a Soroptimist Club fundraiser)
• Took part in managing grandparent's 40 acre property(firewood, dam maintenance, pruning, cleaning water system, etc.)

• Nature Bridge Armstrong Scholar Program: Challenging 13 day backpacking trip in Yosemite specifically for women. Learned survival and outdoor safety skills.
