Endless endeavors regarding the pursuit of knowledge have lead me to centers of research and literature in which do I strive for the betterment of myself, my community and society as a whole. At the young age of seventeen do I now find myself as an insignificant clump of clay, yearning to be molded in the grasp of logic and reason such that I may solidify in the embrace of truth by manifesting the principles of morality and justice.

During my youth, I have found refuge in the sanctuary of the scholars, volunteering at my local Islamic center through service to its humble attendees and cultivation of its innocent children.

It is these countless hours and sleepless nights in dedication to the truth which have ignited my heart with the flame of justice that seeks to burn every strand of oppression throughout the globe.

In anticipation to embark on the path of professionalism, I now evaluate my humble, insignificant past finding no trace of experience, yet unearthing a mountain of aspirations, sprouting from the grounds of servitude.

            A Discourse is not something you would normally find on a resume. 

            However, the truth is certainly of the utmost importance, so how could a discourse on the search for truth be excluded from a resume?

            Only when encompassed within an embrace of darkness, does one truly appreciate the value light as he yearns for a lantern, rather, a mere twinkle from the stars. I truly have expensed myself in the search for truth, in search for a purposeful path which would lead one to liberation from the shackles of ignorance and empower one to oppose the tyrannical system which had enslaved him, shrouded in the guise of democracy.

Such a system has institutionalized a culture of materialism and self-satisfaction, normalizing immorality and thoughtlessness, with a malicious intention to subject the people to their own desires as opposed to a traditional, authoritarian figure. Oppression truly has evolved, such that a nation can proclaim its love for freedom and democracy, creating an environment which kindles the ego as people destroy their potential and empty their pockets in servitude to themselves, their impulses. We live in an era in which the most apparently humanitarian nations strive to obliterate the centers of truth and sincerity, clothing them in a garb of radicalism and oppression; the innocent population has little to no chance of discovering the truth. It was in this sea of madness when I saw a twinkle from the stars, discovering an innate tool of guidance; the cornerstone of humanity: reason.

It is this tool which illuminates each darkness and dispels every cloud of misguidance. Through hours of thought, research and contemplation did I discover the path of truth, the path of Islam. It's a reality that reveals existence, rather, existence itself is defined by Islam. The peak of morality, servitude and sincerity are manifested through it's implementation, while every root of oppression and tyrannical figure is destroyed by through its reality. It's veracity has lead to the oppression of its followers, while it's unapologetic stance against tyranny has emboldened many to degrade it's appearance.

Islam truly is justice in itself, as its followers submit to no oppressor; no figure other than the true authority, God.

Islam truly is antithetical to oppression, as tyranny will never triumph over truth in spite of their monopolization of power and wealth.
