  • Synthesizing novel material and nanomaterial utilized as electrocatalysts in electrochemical energy conversion systems to improve Oxygen Reduction reaction (ORR) at cathode of Anion Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (AEMFCs)
  • Fabricating hybrid nanocomposites comprised of reduced graphene oxide (GO) interfaced with metal oxide (MOx) nanostructures designed as advanced electrode materials for Faradaic supercapacitor (SC) applications. Preparing 3D-printed supercapacitors, batteries, and electronics through additive manufacturing techniques.
  • Responsible for life cycle assessment (LCA) to quantify environmental impacts of printed SCs or printing process and how it can be used for chemical engineers to reduce hazardous waste and material.
  • Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) is used for real-time detection of Covid-like-virus transmission through air using laser spectroscopy. Negative staining procedure and scanning transmission electron microscope (STEM) are used in this project.
  • Engineering and synthesis of diverse classes of nanomaterials such as intermetallic nanoalloys and nanocomposites as electrocatalysts, and have specifically adopted LASiS-based techniques for synthesis of Metal Oxides, Metal-Organic frameworks (MOFs), Manganese Oxide-reduced Graphene Oxide (rGO) hybrid nanocomposites (HNCs) and MOF-derived HNCs
