Hard working student at the University of Utah, offering part-time work that pays attention to detail, is a good communicator, and is always trying to come up with new ideas. Someone always willing and wanting to learn new things, and put their best foot forward and give 110%.
I helped host and assist with events for the children at the women and children’s center. For example, I help with birthday parties, movie nights, clothes drives and book drives. I did this in 2022-2024.
I am in a service club at my school where we make breakfast for the Wellspring Women’s center. We make pancakes, yogurt parfait, and sandwiches. I am usually in charge of making the sandwiches and cleaning up afterwards. I joined this club at the end of Junior year and continued volunteering senior year (2023-24)
In the middle of my Junior year I went on a service immersion trip to Browning, Montana in February 2023. Browning is home of the Blackfeet tribe, and this reservation has some troubles. A lot of deaths occur because of alcoholism, young native women get kidnapped, there is abuse in homes, and drug issues. We went and helped at De La Salle Blackfeet, the LaSallian school in Browning. We helped in the classroom by tutoring kids and helping with curriculum. We helped with the lunches, and did physical activities with the kids, such as play basketball and volleyball.
