- In this job, I took x-rays for patients, performed coronal polishes to help patients maintain hygiene, applied dental sealants, educated patients on important tips to maintain their oral health, took impressions when necessary for the lab, created negative impressions also for the lab, and managed my work place and office operational rooms to keep it as sanitary as possible, and abide by the cleanliness standards to maintain care places and keep them as safe as possible for patients. Some of my smaller tasks included constructing dental trays, making sure they were clean and sterilized, and sterilizing instruments. In this job I was able to practice my communication skills, time management, and patient comfort. More of my tasks included:

One of my accomplishments include graduating from the RDA program, and learning how to perform each of the processes required for oral hygiene and wellness under the RDA licensure. This required me to practice and master each dental skill, such as x-rays, coronal polishing, sealants, chair-side assisting, adhering to OSHA, and many more.
Additional Information
During my high school career, while I was searching for the right career for me,
I took a year-long course for peer-counseling. In this course, I was able to self reflect on myself and learn how to improve as a friend, partner, family member, and become more well-rounded over-all. This course taught me skills I can use in every day life, such as how I speak to people, how to be a good listener, use attentive body language, and how to make decisions on the spot even when an answer seems unclear. I also learned to carry these skills with me into my career, to help provide better care and attention for patients.
DRIVER'S LICENSE
I can drive efficiently and follow rules, and do often for personal reasons and to help around my home. I take little siblings to and from school with these skills.
