  • Work with Behavior and Mental patient out of a nursing facility. I would work out tech issues work as (in-between) person with the nursing staff and provider. Would do referrals with facility to get patients seen in a timely manner and would also prep charts for clinic days. Would work with two EMRs and combine information in a form to help narrow down most recent information or screenings for patients. Would also use screening tools w/ (provider supervision) such as SLUMS, BIMS, PHQ-9, GDS, etc..

  • Worked with different specialty providers; pulmonary, family practice, chiropractic, mental health, etc.. Worked with patients getting vitals, assisted procedures, post procedure aftercare, administer injections, phlebotomy, and sanitizing and cleaning rooms in between patients.
  • Oversaw the lab- ordering, organizing lab supplies including CLIA and nonCLIA. Organize and did inventory sent out supplies to all (9) clinics. Would perform lab draws, processed and sent to larger laboratories for running tests for results.

COMMUNICATION

I had been picked to take charge of a position that was a big change and even bigger responsiblies. I had to order supplies for 8+ clinics for lab and CLIA and equally distribute with reserve for emergencies.

LEADERSHIP

After working as an CCMA, I was changed to the position of CLIA waived medical assistant and managed and maintained laboratories within the company.
