My primary responsibility was helping Kaspien clients achieve their goals as sellers on Amazon. Daily activities included monitoring and managing inventory, product sell-through, pricing, promotions, and purchase orders. I also developed quarterly sales forecasts and weekly reports using Excel and internal database tools. I worked as part of a structured planning and execution team, meeting weekly with members and supervisors to review progress toward objectives and related action items.

I was responsible for daily coding and distribution of invoices, filing and maintaining purchase orders. Daily tasks included analyzing invoices and receiving documents for discrepancies. I also created debit memos when necessary and oversaw corrections for overages, shortages, and damaged freight.

In my initial role with Emery-Jensen, I completed purchase order follow-ups with vendor clients, obtaining backorder ETA’s and shipment tracking information. I participated in various cross-training events to better assist the merchandising and purchasing departments. Awarded advancement in 2019.

Interviewed, hired, trained, and supervised staff. Optimized profits by controlling food, beverage, and labor costs. Managed inventory, overseeing all paperwork, sales, and deliveries. Coached staff through food safety processes, menu education, and upselling techniques. Trained staff in food prep, money handling, and cleaning to facilitate effective restaurant operations. Efficiently resolved issues to the satisfaction of all involved parties.
