• Secured $4.5million for implementation of an Age Friendly Emergency Department (care for geriatric patients) that include funds for staffing, training and equipment.

Quality of Care:

• Flow: implemented a care team in triage to improve our flow and throughput where we have seen a 20% improvement in our Left Without Being Seen (LWBS) and 50% decrease in our diversion rates improving our access metrics.
• Workplace Safety: Physician lead for implementing workplace safety initiatives that have helped to reduce workplace incidents by over 70%

Patient safety:

• Reductions in radiology over-reads by 50% in collaboration with Department of Radiology

Performance Improvement\Quality Improvement:

• Secured over $600,000 in grant funding for patient safety and quality care initiatives

Medical center leadership:

• Chair of the Senate Clinical Affairs Committee comprised of physicians from multiple clinical sites in the alignment of clinical missions and aims
• Affiliate medical board member involving oversight in the integration of physicians from affiliate medical sites
