Leadership Qualities for Guest Manager

Self Employed Web
Jackson
05.1987 - 05.2025
  • I would like to share with you my qualities that would fit right into your Little Jennie Ranch Guest Manager position.
  • Team Leadership: I lead by example. I am a worker at heart and have been very fortunate to be blessed with a personality that loves people. I am able to get along with all types. I gain respect by working along side all my employees of my business. I had employees that worked for my for 8 years straight. I hired 160 (in 10 yrs) and only had to fire 5. Building a Team, starts with ME. What I mean by that statement is I will mentor, teach and also support at all times when in a leadership position. It is who I am at my core. A true leader sets their employee's up for success, by doing whatever that takes.
  • Organization & Planning: Outside my nursing career, my love is horses. I rode in the NRHA "reining" for 3 years. I also organized and put on a 3 day Western Horse Versatility Event in Alpine Wy. This event main office is out of Colorado Springs CO, and I was trying to get people in Wy to understand the event. This clinic included, managing cattle, event coordinating between all of the ranch-related disciplines (ranch roping, ranch cow work, ranch reining/cutting ranch trail). I grew up simply in a small cowboy town, branding, team roping, hunting. I college rodeo for Twin Falls Idaho in breakaway roping. I fully organized this successfully event. I was asked to be on the Versitility Board of Directors, I declined due to time issues.
  • I worked for the American Cancer Society for 3 years. I was the founder of the Relay of Life in Afton Wy. I had to go speak at local businesses to explain the event, gather teams and then put on a 24 hour event, to honor all the cancer survivors in the Afton area. Community oriented fun filled event, loved this honor.
  • Nursing qualities of Organizaton / planning: Well when your called in a trauma situation it is all about being prepared for the worst handling the entire situation in a calm organized manner with skill in planning all medications and life-saving interventions (Intubation/running a ventilator, directing the team at bedside "because the doctor left due to the flight team taking over". I was also the PR representative for Classic Air Medical for over 4 years. Schedule public events, speaking at the events with 100's of communitiy members, planning new air base openings ECT.
  • Hands on Manager: This is an easy one, I work by example in all that I have done. My employee always knew that I valued them because I would work right along side of them. Flight nursing I knew my job and I also could step into my fellow paramedic's job if I was needed. It's a leader's job to gain respect, and I gain respect by my work ethic and my teaching/mentoring personality.
  • Guest Experience: The way I see it, the guest manager's job is to "read the cover of the book,". I would first listen to what our guest wanted out of the experience and then it is my job to make that happen and maybe surprise them with even a better experience than they expected. Happy employees to care for their every need / safety, great professional communication at all times, patience in understanding this may be their first ranch experience/horse ride/ snowmobile or camping trip. I am very good at this. Simply be involved and care about what Little Jennie Ranch stands for; western traditions of high standards of horsemanship with integrity of a real working cattle ranch. Hospitality at it's finest.
  • Operations & Activities: I fully understand the list of activities, snowmobiling, horses trail riding and sleigh rides with ranch tours along with my favorite hunting. The very reason I moved to Wyoming in 1997 is my LOVE for ELK hunting. I am a Elk hunter. Last year spent 10 days on a high country mule deer rifle / archery Elk hunt in bondurant, just down the rode from your ranch. Yep 10 days sleeping in a tent with wood stove, dealing with snow and packed all the supplies on horseback in and out. Loved it and look forward to it each year.
  • Stock / Equipment mgt; I married a real buckaroo cowboy and he is my rock. I would work very well around the livestock / cattle. I know how to care for horses maintain equipment and gear properly.
  • Please Note: My husband put in for your ranch hand job, Joel Davis. I believe we could be an exceptional asset to Little Jennie Ranch and meet a vast amount of your needs and expectations. Thank you for your consideration. You mentioned in your ad that your open to a couple and we would love to share our qualities that would met your dynamic open positions.

Flight Air Medical RN

Classic Air Medical
Jackson
03.2015 - 01.2024
  • As a Flight RN you practice at the very highest skill level allowed. I was in charge of stablizing/managing/and had full Life saving decision making of my patients care. I would fly into a traumatic scene or be taking a very sick patient from one hospital to another for a higher level of care. This position requires the highest level of education for an RN. I would manage my crew and making the very important decisions regarding patient care. This requires, organization, knowledge, professional communication skills with pure confidence in your profession. I have loved being a nurse and found it a privilege to have practiced at this level in my profession.
