I am a current PMHNP student at Chamberlain University with the goal of eventually caring for at risk youth, families, and veterans. I currently work as a civilian employee for Eglin AFB in OBGYN clinic caring for active duty and active duty dependent patients. I am a 15-year BSN, RNC-OB nurse with certification as a breastfeeding counselor and previous certification in childbirth education. Experienced in high risk inpatient obstetrics, high risk antepartum, OBED, neonatal assessment, level II NICU, and mother-baby. Previous experience as a night shift charge nurse for 6 years and unit educator/RN lead for 1 year. Experienced as the Unit scheduler, leader of unit-based council, and member of the perinatal leadership committee. My long history of nursing, ongoing pursuit of education, and commitment to providing the best evidence-based patient care put me in a position to be a compassionate intern and student learner in your practice. I am hightly motivated and dedicated to pursuing my degree plan and becoming the best PMNHNP provider that is possible and would very much appreciate your assitance with the practicum portion of my education.
