My name is Manuel bolanos and I am 17 years old soon turning 18 this year (2024). I am a Hispanic living in Astoria queens. I have been playing soccer since my early childhood. Im currently going to Eleanor Roosevelt highschool ( top 97 HS in the nation )on the upper east side. It is a very competitive school as Im in the middle of my jr year of Highschool.
My dream is not just to be a soccer coach, I want to be the coach that really helps these kids find a passion for a sport here not so popular in America. The united states hasn't produced top world class talent compared to other nations. Speaking and listening to many experts talk about the development issues here in the united states has inspired me to want to get involved with the kids at the grassroots level.
I already have my grassroots licenses from the USSF, and im looking forward to obtaining high level licenses.

My dad owns a store here in queens NY in an uprising area. He has made me help him run the store since he opened it in 2018 to help me learn what hard work was like. I was usually never paid up until 2 years ago until he saw i was reliable enough to do the following;
