As part of the facility executive team, I was responsible for directing, planning, and overseeing all rehabilitative, educational, vocational, ministerial, recreational and therapeutic services within the facility. For the last year before I retired, I was the Acting Superintendent of the facility. In that position I was responsible for the overall management, security, fiscal operations and rehabilitation programs within the facility, reporting directly to the Commissioner.

Oversaw counseling programs, rehabilitative services and the parole preparation process for incarcerated individuals. Supervised Guidance Unit staff.

• Coordinated the social, educational and vocational rehabilitation of incarcerated individuals, ultimately guiding them through the parole and post-release supervision process.

• Taught various Art courses to incarcerated individuals at Gouverneur Correctional Facility.

• Taught the Commercial Arts vocational program.
