• Provide safe and timely transport of patients throughout the hospital, including transfers to and from Radiology for CT, MRI, and X-ray procedures
• Support patient care by assisting with transfers using slide boards, stretchers, and wheelchairs while following proper safety and infection control protocols
  Communicate effectively with patients, nurses, and radiology staff to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience
• Gain hands-on exposure to Radiology Department operations while pursuing a Radiologic Technology degree through CHI
• Assist radiologic technologists with departmental needs such as patient positioning support, room preparation, and supply stocking
• Observe selected imaging procedures (X-ray, CT, MRI) when appropriate, strengthening clinical knowledge and understanding of imaging workflows

• Maintain safety and security of facility by monitoring surveillance systems, conducting routine patrols, and inspecting interior and exterior areas

I started Radiology School in August 2025. My time in the classroom, lab, and clinical sites has been filled with great opportunities and learning experiences. This program has had a significant impact on my career goals and has helped me discover the areas of imaging and hospital settings that interest me most.

Through my clinical rotations and hands-on training, I have continued to develop my patient care, positioning, imaging, and communication skills while gaining experience in a variety of healthcare environments.

By the time I graduate, I hope to become a well-rounded technologist with experience in multiple areas of medical imaging. My goal is to continue advancing my education by pursuing additional certifications and cross-training opportunities, including CT and MRI, while expanding my knowledge in as many imaging modalities as possible.
