  • During this project, I was also tasked with creating Visio diagrams for the Enterprise System Architecture. This included meeting with each individual business tower and documenting the business processes connected to the overall Solution Architecture. I also assisted in the Project Management details by tracking our resources and their workloads using the Microsoft and Adobe applications.

  • Responsibilities included assisting the Shared Services Team at Baxalta Pharmaceuticals in their separation from Baxter Pharmaceuticals. My duties encompassed working with approximately 130 Stakeholders, collecting their requirements and populating the Technical Solutions documents (TSD) required for migrating the servers, applications, and data from Baxter Data Centers (worldwide) to Baxalta Data Centers. This involved using an Application Management System (APM) to organize and catalog Baxter’s software applications and identifying any redundancies or high-risk applications.
  • This work was then used as the foundation for SOWs, Work Orders, Procedural Run Books, Data Migration procedures, Test Scripts, and SOC Solutions. In addition, I was tasked to create and maintain the Master versions of these documents on a Shared Services SharePoint Site. During my 14 months at Baxalta, I worked with the TSD Team to refine and update the TSD templates as well as the process by which they were created and approved.
  • While working on the migration project, I was also given the responsibility of assisting the startup of the VPN project, which was charged with processing VPN requests from Baxalta Stakeholders for VPN access. My duties on this project included the use of SmartDraw to create the Process documentation and Web Design for the three types of VPN.

In addition, I created an Employee Onboarding Manual using myself as an example and documenting all procedures that I experienced in the process of onboarding with Northern Trust. This manual became the SOP for onboarding new employees and contractors within the Change Management Division.
