• Company Overview: Beta Offshore Platform
• In the craft position I work in Variety of trades
• I review hot work permits and Jsa before getting them signed off by the operator
• I also work on piping such as bolting up and unbolting pipe, cutting grinding and beveling prepping pipe for the welders
• I work with crane operators rigging pipe and rigging material that needs to be moved to different locations on the platform
• I also do mechanical work such as changing valves and gaskets, bleeding valves and any maintenance that needs to get done on the platform.

• In my position I review JSA, JSP(Job Safety Plan)/PWP(Prework Plan) and review proper signature of management on the required documents and review and share safety plans among crew and set up site control(exclusion zone)
• Make sure we have calibrated quad monitors and H2S monitors and we have safe inspected harnesses
• Also help the crew build the scaffold as well and lead them to perform work in a safe and timely manner and also make sure we finish the job task safely so we can all go home to our families at the end of the day

I controlled equipment such as valves and systems that process natural gas or petroleum into specified products. Responsibilities includes monitoring pressure flows reading gauges and adjusting valves as needed. i also load and offload heavy diesel,butane,crude oil in to rail carts also test the water plants NH3 levels and PH levels making sure the water is safe for use.

• In my position as a Safety Intern, I helped with the cooling towers and Heat Matrix making sure everybody is staying hydrated
• I also do observations and make sure everybody is following protocols and checking their JSA and making sure everybody is working as safely as possible
• I also help with incident reports and investigating incidents and figuring out the cause of the incident and how we could have prevented it and what we can do differently to make sure the incident doesn't happen again
• I also gave Safety Orientations to new employees/contractors
