• Assisted Dr. Diana Lashidua Fernández-Coto and team in advancing a study on SIRT3’s regulatory role in mitochondrial metabolism in glioblastoma, analyzing proteomic and acetylomic profiles of metabolically distinct cell lines via high-resolution mass spectrometry to identify lysine acetylation–mediated regulation of protein synthesis and potential novel SIRT3 targets.
• Gained proficiency in functional annotation enrichment analysis (including GSEA) to characterize dysregulated proteins and delineate metabolic phenotypes in glioblastoma cell lines.
• Conducted enrichment network analysis in Metascape, refined in Cytoscape, to visualize overrepresented biological processes and protein acetylation changes following SIRT3 inhibition, comparing gene list contributions and term similarities across samples.

Project Title: The Role of Physicochemical Properties and Nanoparticle Geometry in Influencing Cytotoxicity

• Designed and conducted cell-based assays to evaluate nanoparticle cytotoxicity.
