I have done several things for the Cushing Community Theater. I plan to act in shows for them, but up to this point I have worked on spotlighting a show for them, and worked on controlling the music for a rendition of The Nutcracker in December of 2024 that was hosted by the Rhythm Alley Dance Studio of Perkins, Oklahoma. I have since had discussions about returning to work for them on future shows with more spotlighting or sound system work, but also to control the larger lighting system which is a more involved process. As of yet there have not been any shows this year which is why I haven’t had experience beyond what is listed here.

I applied for working the polls in our area for the 2024 Presidential Election. The Payne County Election Board in Stillwater, OK, thankfully accepted and allowed me to work. I did everything that day in turns with the rest of the workers from passing out stickers to voters and their children, to giving tickets and pens to the voters so they could be allowed through and have something to write with, to keeping track of said pens and returning them to keep the line moving in an orderly fashion, to signing voters into the building by confirming their name, address, and being shown a proper proof of identity. I also assisted in setting up the building in the early morning before the doors opened, and stayed late to clean up any trash, move the tables and chairs back to where the belonged , and sorted through the polls and put them into organized piles before leaving.
