,My background in church work was divinely inspired because it definitely was not personally planned! I studied French in college and then taught it for a few years before the senior pastor at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church requested my help with several projects at the church. He mentored me, encouraged me, and helped me to see that the gifts God had given me, He intended me to use. I believe I did that for over 30 years, especially in the work of congregational and pastoral care. I do not think He's finished with me yet, and I would like to continue to use my gifts in those areas.
