Started off as a cashier. Work my way up to service desk.. We balanced the cashier’s till at the end of their shift , took care of customers sold lottery tickets, money order, cigarettes and answered phone calls.

Then I got the position of bookkeeper

My responsibilits were to take care of customers needs , ordered supplies and ordered money for the week help store managers watch over the front end meaning cashiers. Answered phones make work schedules for people in my department, balance cashiers tills and get them ready for their shift, find and fix mistakes cashiers made in order to balance or till. Balance the business for the week including cash coupons credit cards and made deposits ready for brings to pick up. I also trained new customer service, cashiers and train some of the girls to do my bookkeeping part when I was not there.

• Maintained and processed invoices, deposits, and money logs.
• Established QuickBooks accounting system to reflect accurate financial records.
