Summary

I started as a developer and transitioned up the information technology ladder through technical support; hardware/software refresh management; and then into technical project management using waterfall, agile, lean, and hybrid methodologies.


I am now a seasoned program manager with experience in enterprise system integrations, building enterprise data management and storage solutions, automating Governance and Risk Management policies as well as leading corporate separation, acquisition and integration projects.


I have spent 33 years specializing in infrastructure deployment and decommission projects, data center refreshes, moves and exits; network security and data protection programs, product development (SDLC and agile) and product management projects, as well as building secure data pipelines for financial institutions, and high visibility business transformation programs.


I have found great success through continuous learning of cutting-edge technologies, distributed team optimization and duplication of tried-and-true, repeatable best practices.

Cyber Portfolio Lead

JPMorgan Chase
02.2022 - 03.2024

At JP Morgan Chase,

  • Managed the entire cxLoyalty Cyber Portfolio, consisting of 40 active information protection (IP) focused projects with a combined budget of over $38M over 2 years. All projects were completed on-time (with CRs) and under budget (with CRs) during a very volatile period of change. JPMC acquired cxLoyalty in 2021, in 2022 cxLoyalty separated from Tenerity and then in 2023 cxLoyalty integrated with JPMC. cxLoyalty has now become the technical stack for JPMC and Frosch (luxury travel).
  • Managed a large-scale transformation of ServiceNow platform to include Vulnerability Remediation (VR) and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) module build-outs and adoption.
  • At the end of 2023, received a glowing performance review from my leadership as well as my peers; a performance bonus as well as a performance-based raise.

Chief of Staff

At EMPR,

  • Served as the Chief of Staff for an emerging technology startup. EMPR was a startup bringing a mobile business product to market that aimed to empower SMBs decimated by the pandemic to survive market conditions in the short term and thrive in the long term
  • Was mandated by the city of Dallas to create a COVID-19 bubble in the downtown area where the startup core lived and worked in the same building.

  • Managed the enablement and integration of all DevOps Tool Chain Base Applications, focused specifically on Chef, UrbanCode Deploy, Jenkins, Artifactory and GitHub product lines. Added Dynatrace, Nagios, PagerDuty, Jira, HipChat, Chef Automate and Bluemix products in phase II.
  • Managed F5 Hardware refresh of 18 non-prod and 22 prod pairs, as well as the Flexera AdminStudio and Workflow Manager implementations within packaging and deployment teams.
  • Migrated the AIG Science Team from multiple local instances of GitHub, to one centralized, enterprise instance.
  • Strengthened the integration between development and operations' teams through the implementation of Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Testing (CT), Continuous Promotion (CP), Continuous Deployment (CD) and Release Management (RM) processes and capabilities.

  • Identified and built the backlog of all required activities to seamlessly integrate SAP S/4 Hana with CA-PPM as the Company migrated from ECC to S/4 Hana.
  • Designed interfaces that allowed users to access data via SOAP/REST APIs, HTTP/HTML web services and SAP BAPIs. These interfaces were all managed using a combination of Dell Boomi and Apigee integration platforms.

At Gamestop,

  • Completed the implementation of the Enterprise Data Hub. The EDH provides the organization with a centralized, optimized and unified data source by offloading raw and historical data to the new lower-cost Hadoop solution. The result was to create a highly searchable foundation for lakes, ponds, and streams data model by ingesting raw, unstructured data from disparate sources.
  • Inherited and completed the infrastructure piece of the tablet-to-stores project from execution to closure. This project delivered a suggestive selling application presented by way of an iPad in all stores with appropriate corporate connectivity and security.
  • Inherited and completed the Federated Platform Replacement from execution to closure. This project replaced ADFS with Okta to offer multi-factor authentication for specific apps and users as well as integrated access for downstream tools once a user is authenticated on the corporate network.
  • Inherited and completed the Real Estate Lease Management project when it moved from Execution back to Planning. Assessed project financial and delivery status, reallocated resources, reforecast all known costs and built in appropriate contingency. RetaiLease and Expesite were replaced by a holistic SaaS application (Lucernex). Snaplogic integrations were coded to transform and load data queried via various SOAP and REST APIs from disparate data sources both inside and outside the corporate firewall. Flexibility, speed and security were the key metrics that drove our design. The production APIs were subsequently managed using TIBCO Mashery.

  • Completed a transformational program to develop a universal workflow process and management system, called One Workflow, designed to leverage the One Datastore to maximize efficiency, provide dynamic management and customer reporting, and eliminate reliance on manual workflow tracking. This information was then presented in a graphical UI called One View (a comprehensive and on demand presentation of all available property and tax information) for all user groups.
  • Built and managed 10 secure data pipeline projects between Corelogic and Big Financial Institutions.

  • Inherited and completed a Security program that implemented managed security services (MSS) and global threat intelligence (Sourcefire); implemented a secure Web Gateway (ZScaler) and a Web application firewall (Imperva); and implemented a Next-Generation Intrusion Prevention System with integrated application control for web apps to protect against APTs (Solutionary).

  • Created a repeatable process to implement secure data pipelines from foreign acquisitions to electronically send data systematically from an international HRMS to the corporate data warehouse for inclusion in all the corporate programs and downstream tools.
  • Inherited and completed a construction project to support the physical move of 550 employees across Plano.
  • Inherited and completed the Informatica (iPaaS) implementation to provide the company with scheduled (batch) and real-time integration services, a robust API framework, master data management (MDM), test data management, data quality tools, and native security/connectivity.
  • Inherited and completed an AD Migration project to establish a more unified active directory architecture by collapsing 98 international domains and 3 forests into a single global forest with 2 primary domains.
  • Co-designed process and procedures to allow BIS divisions to bring mobile applications to market on the iOS, Android and Blackberry platforms.

At TravelMaster Technologies,

  • Managed the iterative re-engineer of a corporate travel management software suite designed to merge booked, corporate card, expense report and other data to provide corporations with the most current view of travel activity and spending.
  • Developed custom Java Scripts to expose public flight data APIs to provide actionable intelligence regarding planned travel vs actual spend.
  • The team was disbanded abruptly when the company owner was federally charged and jailed for embezzling millions from American Express.
