  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to design health and life plan solutions for insurance broker clients and their small business customers. Use knowledge of small group benefits to brainstorm with team members on the best plans to fit the customers need. Help prepare proposals and manage employer and employee application process through to implementation. This is done by reviewing the underwriting guidelines for deadlines, participation guidelines and paperwork requirements and making sure all requirements are met prior to submitting the group to the carrier for coverage. This includes the opportunity to assist with open enrollment meetings at the employers location or via webinar &/or Zoom. For those clients who wish to use the Ease platform for their original submission or for on-going administration, assist with building the group on Ease, educate and train all necessary outside parties on how this process will work via telephone, in person or via webinar &/or Zoom. Provide first-line-problem-solving for brokers and their clients needing on-going administration assistance during the plan year.
  • As a former Service Team Partner (STP) from 2019-2024, I was paired with a sales team that consists of 1 Regional Sales Manager & 1 Customer Engagement Manager. I assisted them with all sales efforts related to quoting, whether we are quoting in house on Health Connect, quoting on a carrier portal or sending out direct RFP quote requests directly to the carrier. I assisted with any sales collateral that may be needed, answered underwriting & eligibility questions and handled underwriting and implementation of all new groups that were sold for our team.
