Throughout my 23+ years as an educator, I have consistently accepted leadership responsibilities that extended beyond my classroom and counseling duties. These roles demonstrate my commitment to student success, collaboration, and school improvement.

• Principal Designee – Avondale Elementary School and Bush Hills STEM Academy: Served as the administrator's designee in the principal's absence, assisting with daily school operations, student discipline, staff support, parent communication, and ensuring a safe, orderly learning environment.
• 504 Designee – Coordinated Section 504 plans, collaborated with teachers and families, and ensured students received appropriate accommodations and support services.
• Family Involvement Designee – Planned and implemented family engagement initiatives that strengthened partnerships between home, school, and the community.
• Operation School Bell / Rack Room Shoes That Fit Designee – Coordinated community partnerships to provide clothing and shoes for students in need.
• Social Studies Department Chair – G.W. Carver High School (2012–2018): Led curriculum planning, mentored teachers, facilitated department meetings, and promoted instructional excellence.
• Student Government Advisor – Guided student leaders in planning school activities, leadership development, and community service initiatives.
• Senior Class Sponsor – Coordinated senior activities, college tours, graduation events, and scholarship opportunities.
• Credit Recovery Instructor – Provided intervention instruction in Social Science and Language Arts to help students recover credits, remain on track for graduation, and reduce dropout rates.
