In my tenure during HOU2 I have gotten the opportunity to learn multiple roles in different departments, which include direct and indirect roles giving me the chance of learning how important each role can be.

Inbound Stow

• Demonstrated expertise in stow, consistently achieving top performance metrics in the top 10% across all shifts by accurately placing items in optimal locations to enhance retrieval efficiently.

Outbound Pick

• Mastered pick processes, efficiently retrieving items from inventory pods using scanners and following system prompts to meet and exceed daily pick rate quotas while maintaining high accuracy and minimizing errors in a robotics driven environments.

AFE Pack (Flow)

• Expertly selecting and utilizing packaging materials to protect items during transit, scanning for accurate labeling, and consistently hitting rate while achieving good quality metrics. Minimizing damage/returns through careful cushioning and right-sizing techniques, and contributing to reduced packaging waste and improved costumer satisfaction in a high-volume multi-pack environment.

ICQA

• Played a key role in successful counts, contributing to accurate inventory management across the fulfillment center.

Damage Land Problem Solve

• Processed and documented damaged items efficiently to support returns, vendor accountability, and inventory integrity.

Amnesty Floor Monitor (AFM)

• Recognized as one of the best Amnesty responders at the site by swiftly locating, scanning, and resolving fallen, misplaced, or obstructed items on the floor as well as fixing disabled and faulted drive units to restore drive unit flow. While attending station andons to reduce downtime, and support overall floor health. Trained new AFMS.

Learning Ambassador

• Demonstrated leadership as Learning Ambassador by onboarding and training new associates across Pick, Stow, and ICQA imparting safety protocols, best practices, and path specific tips. Engaging with associates in order to help out in any difficulties they may encounter and ensuring clear understanding of their roles.

I started HOU1 in preparations for PEAK 2020, during the time of high demands I was able to adapt quickly and support in various areas of the sort center by cross-training in multiple job functions.

• Increased on-time delivery rates by prioritizing urgent shipments and effectively managing workload distribution among team members.
• Reduced product damage rates through proper handling, storage, and packaging procedures.
• Contributed to a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
• Reviewed order slips, picked products and staged merchandize to be shipped.
• Operated equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move heavy pallets.
