Currently am an LVN Lead Covid-19 Screener assigned to STAAR SURGICAL which manufactures implantable lenses for cataract surgery. In this capacity Nurses screened all Rank and file employees, Management and Contract workers and Visitors entering the facility for signs and symptoms of Covid-19 and occasionally administering Rapid Covid-19 Tests. We were also Ad Hoc receptionists and information personnel.

Last assignment with PROCEL was as Correctional Licensed Vocational Nurse at Los Angeles Men's Central Jail from 01/05/2019 through 04/05/2020. As such was responsible for preparing and passing all medications for between 150 and 300 patients via oral and IM routes. Also all charting using Cerner. Occasionally was rotated through Physio Department to perform Wound Care on from 15 to 100 patients. In this capacity have passed all background checks and training. This assignment was ended by Department of Health Services due to Covid-19. Prior to this assignment was assigned to various Kindred Hospitals where Primary Care bedside Nursing was performed on 6-8 Sub-Acute Patients. In this latter capacity was responsible for all aspects of patient care insertion and care of primary IV lines, medication administration and care of Trachs, drains and wound care to routine personal toilet care and bedbaths, with the assistance of a CNA. All EMR charting was also completed.

• Obtained authorizations from multiple insurance carriers for various levels of care.

Through the organization I obtained Blood Withdrawal and IV certification, Telemetry Training, training as a Urology Technician, Wound Care and Dressings instruction and experience, and Training in Emergency and Urgent Care through a course. Obtained experience in Care of the very heavy Pre-op and Post-Op Patient, Orthopedic, Surgical Urology, Neurology and Neurosurgical patient, Maternal/Child Health and Labor and Delivery, Pediatric Outpatient, Family Medicine, Adult Urgent Care and Pediatric Urgent Care, and Pediatric Hematology and Oncology.
