Patient Care Nursing Assistant (PCA) supports nursing staff in treatment plan of care. PCA aides patients with activities of daily life (ADL), transportation, cleanliness and performing basic nursing procedures taught during training and a certification program. Ability to identify an individual's personal needs, safety and comfort of patients, and promote positive self-esteem. Practicing medical asepsis, respects dignity and privacy with patient and family and maintains objectivity during patient care.
