In this position I was able to provide the Armenian Youth with weekly lectures and activities with the hopes of discovering themselves. As an Armenian individual, I find it extremely important to learn about your own culture as well as others as well. I provided students from my local high school who continued their education at the nearby Armenian Center with lesson plans, song learnings, and overall knowledge on Armenian and any ethnic cultural background.

As a volunteer at a local community Bingo Hall, I worked with senior citizen customers by engaging with them on a daily basis. Meanwhile, I also helped sell raffle tickets as the older generation finds bingo as a form of stress relief in regards to their personal lives. I advanced my marketing and sales skills, meanwhile learned how to properly communicate with customers of all ages.!

Throughout this volunteering experience, I was able to connect with young students by providing them with knowledge on subjects I have mastered. In this case, I tutored English, creative writing , Armenian, and for the upper class students I taught marketing strategies.

At this camp, I engaged with children by teaching them about Religious and Cultural values. I read books and sang with the younger children and providing the upper level youth with lectures on cultural heritage. I organized games, routines, and activities each day for all age youth. Here I was able to learn the reality of interacting with students of all ages, meanwhile building close relationships that last until this very day.
