Nutrition & Metabolic Health Initiative

• Participated and learned about the role of nutrition, physical activity, and lifestyle in preventing and treating obesity
• Measured body composition using bioelectric impedance by operating a metabolic cart and a Bod Pod
• Versed in measuring blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol using medical equipment and how to draw blood using a phlebotomy training arm

Physician Shadowing | Murphy, TX / 01/2024 to Current

• Observed medical assistants in administering various vaccines injections to children ranging in age from newborn to 18
  years.
• Assisted physicians with documentation of patient progress.
• Entered data using office software and gathered patient information, including height, weight, reason for visit, etc.
