  • With over 15 years of architectural experience, I co-founded MAFI Design, a studio specializing in architecture, planning, and interior design, along with consultancy services. Our recent work includes the rehabilitation and expansion of the Margaret Long Landmark House in Park Hill, Denver, Colorado, where we were hired to oversee the exterior restoration and the construction of a rear addition. We successfully navigated the Landmark Preservation Committee (LPC) review process, ensuring the project's compliance with historic preservation standards. In addition, MAFI Design has managed numerous interior residential renovation projects throughout Metro Denver.
  • In the federal public sector consulting arena, I am currently collaborating with Octagon Consultant Group Corp., a leading engineering firm in Puerto Rico that specializes in emergency management and disaster recovery for local government infrastructure. My work involves the rehabilitation of public facilities, including municipal buildings and sports complexes, impacted by presidential disaster declarations. I conduct thorough reviews of field inspection data to assess damage, define comprehensive scopes of work, and develop detailed cost estimates. These estimates are then meticulously reconciled with the funds awarded under the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Public Assistance Program.
