
Occupational Therapist with over 35 years of experience. My primary area of work has been Upper Extremity Rehabilitation and Lymphedema. I have been able to evaluate and perform personalized treatment for patients in order to enhance their quality of life and independence. I have been involved in program development, marketing and student supervision.
Performed evaluations and personalized treatment for upper extremity diagnoses including fractures, nerve compression injuries, lateral/medial epicondylitis, CMC tendon arthroplasty, stroke, A1 pulley release, shoulder rehab, MC arthroplasty, and lymphedema for the upper and lower extremities. Primary supervisor for level one and two students. Performed program development including design of forms and quality assurance. Co-presenter at the 2012 NCOTA Spring Conference: "Role of OT in Managing Lymphedema".
Assisted in development and management of Occupational Therapy department. Supported clinical evaluations and treatments for upper extremity conditions including fractures, tendon repairs, burns, nerve compression injuries, shoulder rehabilitation, stroke recovery, amputations, and general orthopedic concerns. Supervised occupational therapy students during clinical rotations. Aided in marketing and public relations strategies. Contributed to program development by designing forms and ensuring quality assurance.

I was on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ from 1985 to 1990. I worked in multiple OT settings from 1990 to 1997, including inpatient acute hospital, NICU, outpatient facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and subacute care. Contributed to teams at St. Bernadine's Medical Center and Reche Canyon Rehabilitation.
