Chairside Assisting & Procedures

• Provide high level four-handed dental assistance during complex procedures, including root canals, surgical extractions, restorative work, and oral surgery.

• Streamline clinical workflows for crown and bridge preparations, including cord packing and temporary crown fabrication.

• Ensure precise moisture control and effective high-volume evacuation (HVE) to optimize procedural visibility and outcomes.

Radiography & Diagnostics

• Capture high-quality diagnostic images, including digital periapical (bisecting/paralleling techniques) FMX and panoramic radiographs.

• Facilitate New Patient Examinations (NPEX) and maintain thorough, accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans.

Infection Control & Lab Protocols

• Maintain a strictly sterile environment by adhering to OSHA and HIPAA standards for instrument sterilization, operatory preparation, and patient privacy.

• Execute laboratory duties, including taking precise impressions and pouring/trimming diagnostic models using plaster and stone.

• Provide comprehensive chairside assistance during complex procedures—including restorative, surgical, endodontic, and implant dentistry; specialize in supporting patients with high dental anxiety during IV sedation procedures.

• Perform advanced clinical procedures—including crown and bridge preparation, cord packing, and final cementation of temporaries—independently under the direct supervision of the dentist.

• Execute preventive care duties, including coronal polishing, fluoride application, and dental sealant placement for pediatric and adult patients.

• Mastery of laboratory protocols, including taking precise impressions and pouring/trimming models using plaster and stone.

• Ensure optimal moisture control during procedures through expert use of high-volume evacuation (HVE) and isolation techniques.

• Prioritize patient comfort and education by explaining procedures clearly, resulting in increased patient confidence and treatment compliance.

• Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and HIPAA standards regarding infection control, sterilization protocols, and patient data privacy.

• Document accurate clinical notes and treatment plans in electronic health records, ensuring detailed and compliant patient history.
