I completed three years of Club volleyball.
As a club volleyball player, I’ve learned a lot of skills that I know will help me in a job. Playing at a competitive level means I have to manage my time well so I can keep up with practices, tournaments, and schoolwork, which has made me very reliable and organized. Volleyball also taught me how important communication and teamwork are. On the court, if we don’t talk and work together, we don’t succeed—and I bring that same attitude to group tasks.
I’ve learned how to handle pressure, especially in close games, and I’ve gotten good at staying calm and making quick decisions. I’m also very coachable; I’m used to getting feedback from my coaches and adjusting right away, so I’m open to learning new things and improving. Being part of a club team requires commitment, hard work, and showing up consistently, which are the same qualities I know employers look for.
Overall, club volleyball has helped me become responsible, hardworking, and a strong team player—skills I’m excited to bring to this job.
