• Alternative roles: Primary, Float and Resource Nurse
• May 2025: Started my role as RSN that served as key point of contact for patients, family members and staff offering resources, guidance and support at all times to enhance overall efficiency and patient experience. Collaborated with primary nurses, float nurse, ANS and other teams to facilitate admission, transfer and discharge.
• Provide care to intermediate ICU, medical surgical/telemetry patients with 1: 3-5 ratio
• Specializes in DKA/HHS treatment

• Alternative roles for a 250 bed capacity SNF: promary nurse, unit supervisor, interim ADON and ICN
• Responsible for monitoring nursing staff, nursing activities and patient care. Ensuring
  nursing activities are in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
  • Responsible for the facility's activities aimed at preventing healthcare associated
  infections: gathering and analyzing infection data, educating HCP for infection
  prevention protocols, assist in developing plans of care to minimize outbreak and
  communicate with public health to ensure infection control practices are implemented.

3 Surgical (general medical-surgical telemetry)

• Applied theoretical concepts of the nursing profession while providing routine direct patient care within the parameters of established nursing policies and procedures in controlled patient care situations.

Coronary Care Unit (CCU)

• The 13-week training program includes general nursing orientation, didactic classes and a preceptor guided competency based orientation.
• Provided primary care to critically ill patients in critical care units and ED with the supervision of a preceptor.
