Provided direct volunteer opportunities for members of Junior League with the following nonprofits and organizations in Wilmington, NC. ■ Plastic Ocean Project; a non-profit whose mission is to find science-based solutions to the global plastic pollution crisis and to provide education and awareness to the community to improve human and environment health ■ Facilitated a Thanksgiving food drive where the donated food was given to two local food pantries ■ Established a new partnership with the Diaper Bank and facilitated a feminine product drive where members of Junior League donated pads and tampons, which were distributed to local schools (teen health) and domestic violence/homeless shelters. ■ Established new partnership with Wilmington Historical Society and supported their efforts by facilitating “cemetery clean-ups” in cleaning up a historic, African-American cemetery
