Since my early years, a profound love for the art of architecture has guided my path. I've been fortunate to explore my affinity for design and creativity, finding meaningful outlets for expression. I’ve had a fulfilling journey here. Growing up I originally participated in art competitions and opportunities to display my work at diverse school events. These experiences have not only recognized the depth of my connection with the aesthetic dimensions of architecture but have also enriched my journey in this creative realm.
Upon entering high school, I discovered the deep passion I had for architecture and I won a competition by the AIA (MIchael G. Meyers Competition) I then assumed the role of SkillsUSA President for our Local Architecture Chapter, steering the team to success in various competitions. My commitment to the field was further recognized when I secured a scholarship award from the American Institute of Architects (AIA), affirming not only my skills but also my dedication to the architectural discipline.
Engaging in SkillsUSA competitions and orchestrating events for our chapter deepened my understanding of the multifaceted nature of architecture. These experiences solidified my decision to pursue architecture as a lifelong passion. Now, as a fourth-year architecture student at the University of Houston, I am eager to translate my academic knowledge into real-world applications.
I am currently seeking an internship opportunity to complement my academic journey with practical experience. The prospect of contributing to meaningful projects and expanding my skills in a professional setting is genuinely exciting. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my artistic vision, leadership, and passion for architecture to a dynamic and innovative team.
