• Fall 2025- 36 hours on a Labor and Delivery floor at Baltimore Washington Medical Center under direct supervision of a registered nurse (ACE program). Assisted during a vaginal delivery with shoulder dystocia and worked with the team to ensure the APGAR timer was started immediately after delivery. Performed vital signs on both moms and newborns
and documented them accurately and promptly. Worked in Labor and Delivery triage, balancing multiple patients at once and ensuring timely assessment to determine severity and what needed to be done.
• Spring 2026- 36 hours on a Psychiatric floor at BWMC under direct supervision of a registered nurse (ACE program). Performed mental status exams and suicide-risk assessments. Utilized therapeutic communication to build rapport with patients. Performed safety checks every 15 minutes to ensure the safety of patients on the floor.
• Spring 2026- 48 hours in the Pediatric ED at BWMC under direct supervision of a registered nurse (ACE program). Assisted in triage, performing focused assessments and getting vitals using atraumatic care for the pediatric population. Administered medications under RN supervision and reinforced patient/ family education.
• Spring 2026- 48 hours on a Medical-Surgical Floor at BWMC. Cared for patients with diverse acute and chronic conditions. Administered medication by mouth, through a G-tube, and IV under RN supervision. Performed head-to-toe assessments on multiple patients, took vital signs, and provided assistance to patients in performing ADLs.
