  • I was able to perfect my craft in latte making from espresso pour, latte art, or delivering a special prepped beverage for an individual.
  • My biggest accomplishments was creating a best selling beverage called the "South Western Chai" which was a Chai latte, with Hazelnut, cinnamon and a shot of espresso.
  • Working with coffee and these flavors for so long, I was so happy to make something everyone loved.
  • Sea Beans acted as not only a coffee shop but also a: Gift Shop, and cafe where you could get your travel souvenirs and a hot meal.
  • Our positions could be different every day.
  • Cashier, Food prep, Barista or retail management.
  • Retail management meant, you were to clean lobby when needed, price retail, restock and eye on expiration dates.
  • All of this while still providing excellent service to our hotel guests who sometimes became family or close friends by the end of their week stays.

  • I was hostess here for a year, often taking shifts as a food runner when needed.
  • As a hostess you were the face of the restaurant.
  • Being the first person guests interacted with walking into the door, you were to be cheery, inviting and all knowing.
  • We controlled the pulse and business level of the diner in charge of how many people being sat at tables to make sure the kitchen didn't get overwhelmed.
  • It was a busy and popular place, offering a dinner on a cliff side with plenty of outdoor seating.
  • Just before sunset our wait could be a 2 hour wait, and it was our job to keep those who were waiting, happy and informed.
  • Taking on these duties and providing 5 star Forbes standard service which were constantly shopped and tested on.
  • Working in hospitality has become a passion of mine.
